House Dressings

It seems that every restaurant has its own salad dressings, commonly referred to as the "house dressing." The Gerhard Housemann Restaurant in Bay Haven Wisconsin is no exception to that rule. Their  house dressing became so famous  and popular that people came to the Gerhard Housemann Restaurant just to sample the house dressing. It was this humble beginning that the first of our house dressing was born .the rest, as they say is history.

Why are our House Dressings so good? We have partnered with over twenty of the finest restaurants in the world to provide you with a selection of dressings that have drawn raves on three continents. We change our offerings every season. Over the course of the year, it is not uncommon for us to market over 40 different types of dressings; generally, about ten each season.

What You'll Find in Our Dressings

We own the farms that produce the vegetables and seasonings that make each House dressing. We localize our products to take advantage of delivering the ingredients to our kitchens as quickly as possible. We use only vine-ripened vegetables in our dressings. We own the dairies in Wisconsin that produce the cheeses that are used in our blue cheese, parmesan, and Romano dressings. We grow the olives that are used for our olive oil. We own orchards in Washington and vineyards in New York that grow the apples and grapes to make vinegar for our dressings. Because we control both supply and production, we offer our customers the complete confidence that they are buying the freshest and the most delicious dressings you can buy.

Our recipes come from such famous restaurants as Dolan's Steak House in London, England; Henri's in Cannes, France; and The Surf Walk in San Francisco. These dressings are time-tested favorites that have won raves and awards. You are not just getting stale olive oil and apple cider vinegar. All of our ingredients are the best the country has to offer. Whether you like steak or fish or pasta, you'll remember the meal for the salad you ordered before the meal.

We don't mass produce. We feel freshness should trump shelf life. We offer a different set of dressings throughout the year.
